Debate Squad

Japanese Name:

Debate Squad

Motion: This House, as you, would join KDS. Keio Debating Squad (KDS) is the only English debating club at Keio University! In terms of debating, you have to build your arguments based on the side you are allocated (proposition or opposition) in a relatively short period of time to persuade judges. It is such a thrilling experience that you can never enjoy otherwise. There is no obstacle to enjoying the parliamentary debate. It doesn't require you to be an English native speaker or remember everything in an encyclopedia - you just need a pen, a piece of paper, and a timer. KDS is also known for the diverse backgrounds of the members and abundant debating resources. And what we are most proud of is in the warm community! We are looking forward to spending a wonderful time with you all!
